Q. Do you need a Cosmetologists License to provide these services.

A. The Department of Labor and Licensing in Maryland under Cosmetology section 501 K(2), states “The practice of cosmetology does not include:(i) the mere sale, fitting, or styling of wigs or hair pieces; (ii) the mere shampooing of hair; or (iii) a service that results in tension on hair strands or roots by twisting, wrapping, weaving, extending, locking, or braiding by hand or mechanical device, provided that the service does not include the application of dyes, reactive chemicals, or other preparations to alter the color of the hair or to straighten, curl, or alter the structure of the hair”.

Q.Will people be able to tell that I’m wearing a weave or extensions?

A. The majority of people who wear weaves and extensions want a subtle look, so with that being said, the hair must be styled properly. I’m able to give a natural look with the weave/extension techniques I do.

Q. What’s the difference between weaves and extensions?

A.Weave hair is attached to a weft (some refer to wefts as tracks), and extensions can also be attached to a weft or done using a strand by strand method through either interlocking, keratin protein or micro-links to attach the hair.

Q. Do you supply weave/extension hair for your clients?

A. Yes, I can provide hair at an additional cost.   Be sure to inquire during our initial consultation

Q. What is the difference between Virgin Human  Hair and Non-Virgin Human Hair?

A. Virgin Human Hair is not processed. Its 100% natural, so there is no damage to the cuticle. Non-Virgin Human Hair has a silicone coating and the hair has been processed. Non-Virgin Human Hair covered in silicone starts to tangle and become matted after a few washes, while Virgin Human Hair lasts for months and months. Virgin Human Hair can be used over and over again.The textures come: straight, wavy, curly.

Q. How long does it take to do a weaving or extension style?

A. Most styles take 2-6 hrs (time does vary, depending on texture and length of your hair).

Q. Will you provide instruction on hair maintenance?

A. I will provide clients with verbal or written instructions on all hair styles ( i.e.fusion).

Q. How long does a weave and extension styles last?

A. Weave and extension styles can last anywhere from 2-6 months, depending upon the technique and maintenance.

Q.Do you take out weaves and extensions?

A. Yes. I recommend that my clients let me take out their weaves and extensions to avoid damage to their natural hair.

Q.Can I get Picture Perfect Hair Fusion Extensions if I have damaged hair?

A. Absolutely Not!

Q. Can I get a weave or extensions if I have damaged hair?

A. Yes, weaving and certain extension styles promote growth when done properly.

Q. Is bonding glue damaging to hair?

Q. What kind of products do you use on your clients?

A. I only use natural products on my clients hair. The products I use gives hair vitality, shine, strength, promotes growth, stops breakage and brings dry, brittle, damaged hair back to life.

Q. What is the Picture Perfect Microlace Extension Technique?

A. This technique is achieved by placing small cornrows going straight back and wrapping microlace around the clients headline and the nape; to protect those delicate areas where the hair is weak and can easy to break. The human hair extensions are then sewn-in to desired style. This technique can last 2-4 months w/ proper maintenance.

Q. What is the Picture Perfect Hair Braidless Sew-In Technique?

A. This technique is achieved by using thread instead of cornrows or braids as a base or foundation for sewing in wefted weaves/extensions. Clients hair must be left out every other row; like with bonded weaves or extensions. This technique lays very flat, is undetectable & can last up to 3 months with proper care and maintenance. Must be removed by a professional.

Q. What is the Picture Perfect Hair Extension Technique?

A. This technique is achieved by leaving a small amount of hair out around the front of the headline, the sides, and the top. The rest of the hair is put in small cornrows, going to the back. The extensions are sewn-in. The positioning of the human hair extensions is what makes this style so perfect. When finished no one can tell you are wearing extensions.This technique can last 2-4 months w/ proper maintenance.

Q.What is the Picture Perfect Fabulous Hair Illusion Extension Technique?

A. This technique is achieved by placing small rows of ponytails in the hair using clear rubber bands. These rubber bands are super stretchy, and will not cause hair breakage. The human hair extensions are sewn-in. The clients real hair is blended with the human hair extension hair. This technique lays very flat, is undetectable & can last 1-3 months w/ proper maintenance.

Q. What is the Picture Perfect Dream Hair Technique?

A. This technique is achieved by placing small individual plaits 2-3 inches wide in a row in the clients hair. The human hair extensions are sewn-in and placed strategically for the desired style. The clients hair is blended in with the human hair extensions. This technique lays very flat, is undetectable & can last 2-4 months w/ proper maintenance.

Q. What is the Picture Perfect Hair Intertwist Technique?

A. This technique is achieved by interlocking individual strands of human hair extensions in the clients hair (straight or wavy). This technique can take more than 4 hours to achieve. Once finished this technique is undetectable. This technique can last 2-4 months or longer w/ proper maintenance.

Q. What is the Picture Perfect Hair Intra-blend Technique?

A. This technique is achieved by strategically placing 4-6 small cornrows in the clients hair strategically. Human hair extensions are then sewn-in to the clients hair, blending-in with the clients natural hair. Once finished this technique is undetectable. This technique can last 2-4 months w/ proper maintenance.

Q. What is the Picture Perfect Hair Net Weave Technique?

A. This technique is achieved by first placing small cornrows in the clients hair. A net is then placed over the clients hair either fill in bald spots or to protect the clients already thinning hair. The human hair extensions are then sewn onto the net, and desired style is achieved. This technique can lasts 3-4 months w/ proper maintenance.

Q. What is Picture Perfect Hair Fusion Extensions?

A. This technique is achieved by placing individual strands of human hair to small/medium individual sections of the clients hair, using a keratin protein (hot) or micro-links (cold). This technique can take more than 8 hours to achieve. This technique is very undetectable & can last 3-6 months or more w/ proper maintenance. Must be removed by a professional.
